What Does The Bursary Cover?

University:
- Accommodation: Actual costs charged by the university (private accommodation not exceeding university residence costs).
- Transport: R7,500 per annum (up to 40 km from the institution).
- Living allowance: R15,000 per annum.

- Incidental/personal care: R2,900 per annum (for students in catered residences).
TVET:
- Accommodation (urban): R24,000 per annum.
- Accommodation (peri-urban): R18,900 per annum.

- Incidental/personal care: R2,900 per annum.

Who Qualifies For NSFAS Funding?
- All South African citizens.
- All SASSA grant recipients.
- Applicants with a combined household income not exceeding R350,000 per annum.
