Initial Payment Of The Registration
Below is the initial cost of the registration fee at TUT:
An initial payment of R1,500 is required from both new and returning students before registration, serving as the first installment of the total tuition fees. Payments made to the University bank account take three (3) working days to reflect on the student’s statement of account. Conversely, electronic payments made at the University cashier counters are processed immediately and will appear on the student’s account statement right away.
Acceptance Fee:
If a student fails to attend and does not register by the closing date, a forfeiture of R220 from the initial payment of R1,500 will occur for newcomers who are non-registered. Regarding the initial payment upon registration, if the cancellation is made by February 29, the student will not be responsible for any percentage of the total tuition fee for the year; however, R220 of the initial payment will still be forfeited.
