Eligibility And Requirements At TUT

To be eligible for admission to Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), you must meet the following requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate (NSC):

You must have an NSC with a bachelor’s degree or diploma endorsement. You must also have an achievement level of at least 3 for English.

  • Admission Point Score (APS):

You must have an APS of at least 20, excluding Life Orientation.

  • Academic transcripts:

You may need to provide academic transcripts.

  • ID or passport:

You must provide a certified copy of your ID or passport.

  • Performance level:

For bachelor’s degrees, you must have at least four subjects at performance level 4. For diplomas, you must have at least four subjects at performance level 3.

  • Equivalent qualification:

Different programs may have additional requirements. For example, to be considered for the Intermediate Phase Teaching program, you must have an APS of at least 25. For the Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, you must have an NQF-level 7 qualification in human resources or a related field
