West Coast is a Technical Vocational Education and Training College(TVET) where, depending on your subject choices, you will earn a valuable credential to enter the workforce, start your own business, or enrol in college. Returning students who wish to indicate that they will be returning must apply online by November.

  • For NC(V), S1, and T1, the application procedure must begin in August of the previous year; for T2, S2, and T3, it must begin in March, May, and July of the current academic year.
  • All applications must be submitted by the end of October of the previous year for NC(V), T1, and S1, and by March 31 for T2, June 15 for S2, and July 31 for T3 of the following academic year.

The following documents and information are required to apply at West Coast 2026-2027

  • Evidence that you have paid the registration fee (which is required for applicants from South Africa and other countries).
  • A certified copy of your identification document is required for South African citizens; for international applicants, your application cannot be processed without a certified copy of your ID and passport number.
  • Test Results: If available, the final Grade 12 results. If you are currently enrolled in grade 12, your grade 11 results are crucial to your application. So, keep it handy.

  • Step 4: All new students need to undergo a Career Guidance and Assessment using the PACE Career Assessment tool to determine applicants’ numeracy and literary levels.   • Step 5: When the application period begins, all new students must apply for NSFAS. To continue with registration, the reference number is necessary.
